The approximate employment season is from May 25 – September 15 each year. Employment with us includes a monthly salary, round-trip airfare from Anchorage, employee housing, generous gratuities and all meals throughout the summer. Fishing Guides

Positions available to join our pro fishing guide staff. Guides operate 18-20’ 90 hp jet boats on Lake Creek as well as 20’ prop boats on the Yentna River and the mouths of the many clear water tributaries we fish. . Guides should have a personable character, have knowledge of Alaska and Alaskan Fishing including knowledge of basic spin and fly fishing skills, past experience operating powerboats, tiller outboards and/or jet drive outboard motors/john boats. 1st aid/CPR qualification is required and is part of gaining your Alaska western waters Coast Guard license which we help you to obtain. The “OUPV” or “6-pack” license is required to guide on Alaska’s waterways.

We host wide array of fishermen and women from around the world. Lake Creek is one of Alaska’s finest all-around river systems with all species of pacific salmon and large native rainbow trout. The key to a successful guide is being able to enjoy the atmosphere and share the memories with your clients. We focus on character rather than professional skills. Housekeeping/Wait Staff:

Housekeepers are responsible to clean the lodge and all cabins in a timely and efficient manner. Housekeepers also work in the laundry room doing lodge laundry. Must be trustworthy, team oriented and have good work ethics. Have exceptional communication skills and basic knowledge of household cleaning.

The Server is responsible for being knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the lodge and dinning room facilities, services and activities. The primary responsibility is assuring the highest quality of service to guests, which includes: coordinating and serving guest meals; cleaning and setting up dining room.

Routinely washes, cleans and stores food and beverage,cooking and serving items. Cleans and sanitizes the kitchen area. Assist with food preparation. This position is also responsible for keeping pantry room, freezers and refrigerators in a clean and orderly condition and replenishing supplies.
