Accessible only by air or water, Northwoods Lodge provides specialized service for a maximum of 12 guests. What sets us apart is that every group, whether two or three guests, is paired with its own private guide – we never mix groups. After a full day on the water, guests return to well-appointed private cabins and enjoy gourmet meals prepared by our talented chef, ensuring a personalized and comfortable experience from start to finish.
Main Lodge
The heart of Northwoods Lodge is our welcoming Main Lodge. A large, spacious dining room with native birch wainscoting and two lounge areas on the main floor provide a cozy place to gather and share stories after a day on the water. Just off the dining room, a screened-in porch opens to a generous outdoor deck overlooking the creek.
After dinner, guests can head upstairs to our large lounge and game room, complete with comfortable couches, a TV, a well-stocked library, and a bar featuring a beautiful local birch log counter and stools. Challenge friends to billiards or poker, unwind with a good book, or simply soak in the warm, friendly atmosphere that makes Northwoods Lodge feel like your Alaskan home away from home.
