You usually don't have to try real hard to see wildlife in the area, but we can either drive you around in the boat or we can schedule a flight seeing trip directly from the lodge for more aerial wildlife viewing. Northwoods Lodge wilderness location is the perfect destination for encounterss with Alaska's most famous wildlife.
Our guests commonly see moose, fox, wolf, and beaver. Both grizzly and black bear frequent the area. Look for a wide assortment of birds including eagles, owls, ducks, geese, and more to satisfy the most dedicated birdwatcher.
